Weekly reflection - 2nd week

WEEKLY REFLECTION (20.11.17 - 24.11.17)

General events of the school :-
           There were one assembly in this week. It is for congratulating the winners in science fair, social fair, maths fair etc and to bless them for the district level competition.
Reflection of my class :-
Day 1 - Today i was suffering from severe fever. So i had some problems while teaching. I had class on the second period in 9th. My topic was 'Ultrastructure of skeletal muscles'. I used chart,paper cuttings,videos and activity caýrds for that class. The chart contains ultrastructure of skeletal system.                    
Day 2 - Today there was an intercollegiate choir competition in our college. It was conducted by MGOCSM. So we didn't went to school today.
               

Day 3 - Today there were an assembly in our school. It is conducted for congratulating the winners in the science fair, social fair etc. Today i have classes in 9th and 8th. The topic in 9th was 'Muscle contraction and muscle fatigue' and that of 8th was 'Lost links'. I used videos, activity card,paper cuttings,pictures etc. I prepared a poem, 'For Our Nature' for this class. Me and asha teacher went to Bincy teacher's class for peer review.
Day 4 -:  I had class in the first period. The topic was ' Insitu conservation'. I used pictures, activity card etc. Today Asha teacher came for observation. In the afternoon section on the 6th period me and Asha teacher went to 6D for substitution. The students was very active. In the last period me and Neethu teacher went to 6F and we told the students to sang a song. Many students sang.
Day 5 -: Today so many students went for science fair. So i didn't take class. In the afternoon section we serve meals to the students.
         
My experience :-
         This is the second week in our teaching practice. I solved the problems which i felt in the first week. Asha teacher told some positives and negatives in my teaching. I accept that points and planned to do like that from the next week onwards. Serving meals to the students was a very special experience for me.
