WEEKLY REFLECTION (13.11.17 - 17.11.17)
General events of the school :-
In this week they conducted two assembly. The first assembly is in 14.11.17 related with children's day. Sneha from fifth standard presented a speech about children's day. After that they give prize to those students who are participated in science fair,maths fair etc. In the afternoon section there was a drawing competition.
The second assembly was on 16.11.17. It was for the distribution of cashewnut plant. Adv S Venugopal, Joseph Ramban, Agricultural officer etc came for that function. They gave cashewnut plants for the students.
Reflection of my class :-
Day 1 - My first class of fourth semester teaching practice was started from the second period in 9F. The topic was 'Exercise and movements'. I used video,activity card and blackboard as teaching resources.
Day 2 - The topic on second day was 'Environment and environmental factors' in 8A. For that i used a cartoon,pictures,and blackboard. In 9th the topic was 'Types of muscles'. It was a role play.


Day 3 - In 9F i had the 4th period and the topic was 'Liver'. I shows a video, paper cuttings for that.Then i gave activity cards. Inquiry training model was used in the 8th standard. For that i selected the topic 'Food chain'.
Day 4 - I had two classes in 8th standard. The topic were 'Ecological interactions' and 'Ecosystem'.The first topic was a concept attainment model. I used videos and pictures for the classes.
Day 5 - On friday i had third period in 9th and last period in 8th. The topic of 9th was 'Excretion in animals and plants'. In 8th the topic was 'Biodiversity'. For both classess I used videos and activity cards.
My experience :-
The first week was really a good experience for me. The first day had little bit adjustable problems. But now it was adjustable with me. Two days i went for peer review observations. From that i studied lot of things. I had completed nine lesson plans in this week. I was planned to become more systematic from next week onwards.
